How does it fit in with my other treatments?

A course of radiation therapy is commonly prescribed as one part of a cancer patient's overall treatment plan.  Depending on your specific cancer, radiation therapy may be prescribed before, during, or after other treatments, such as chemotherapy.  Depending on your individual tolerance and the effectiveness of the treatments, radiation may be prescribed in higher or lower doses or for shorter or longer durations.

One of our radiation oncologists will help you and your medical oncologist determine whether radiation therapy is a good option for you and how it should be be included in your overall course of cancer treatments.
