Dr. John Baumann received his A.B. Degree (magna
cum laude) from Princeton University and his M.D.
degree from Harvard Medical School. He completed
his residency, chief residency and fellowship in
radiation oncology at Harvard Medical School.
Dr.
Baumann was appointed Chief of Radiation Oncology
at the Walter Reed Medical Center and served as the
Associate Program Director of the National Cancer
Institutes’ Resident Training Program for Radiation
Oncology. He has served as a member of the Radiotherapy
Committee of the Gynecologic Oncology Group, a member
of the Radiology Advisory Medical Team of the Department
of Defense, and was Consultant to the Surgeon General
for radiation oncology.
Dr. Baumann has also served
as President of the Medical Staff at the University
Medical Center at Princeton, and he has received
numerous honors including being selected by his peers
as “Best Doctor” in the NY/NJ region.
